This page explains the data recorded when the free website security audit is launched.
Requested website or hostname, timestamp, audit status, summary result, source IP address and two-letter source-country code supplied by the hosting edge.
Operating and securing the audit service, preventing abuse, diagnosing failures and producing a restricted weekly administration report.
Interface Trust relies on its legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service, subject to data minimisation, restricted access and short retention.
Access is limited to authorised Interface Trust administration. Hosting, database and email providers process the data only as technical service providers.
The source IP, country code and any complete URL supplied are automatically erased from the database after 35 days. The weekly report is deleted during the next purge cycle, no later than 42 days after it was sent.
The hostname, timestamp, status and summary results that no longer contain the source IP may be retained for up to 12 months for service reliability and aggregate analysis. No source IP is published on the website or included in user-facing audit results.
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or object to this processing by contacting contact@interface-trust.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Please provide the approximate audit date, audited hostname and source IP so the relevant record can be located without collecting unnecessary identity documents.
